PRESCHOOL PROMISE PROGRAM
Free, High-Quality Preschool for Eligible Oregon Families
Early Start Preschool & Childcare Center is proud to be a Preschool Promise provider. Preschool Promise is a publicly funded program that gives eligible Oregon families access to high-quality preschool at no cost to families.
At Early Start, Preschool Promise children are fully included in our preschool classrooms and receive the same nurturing, bilingual, play-based learning experience as the children throughout our program. Children participate in hands-on learning experiences that support their social-emotional, physical, cognitive, language, literacy, and early math development.
Our Preschool Promise schedule is Monday–Thursday from 8:00 AM–3:00 PM. Children receive nutritious meals and snacks while participating in a consistent daily routine that includes learning centers, small and large group activities, outdoor play, creative experiences, and opportunities to build the skills that will help prepare them for kindergarten.
Who May Qualify?
Preschool Promise serves eligible Oregon preschool-aged children. Eligibility may be based on factors such as household income and other qualifying circumstances. Oregon currently uses 200% of the Federal Poverty Level as its general income threshold, and eligibility is determined through the Preschool Promise enrollment process.
Not sure if your family qualifies? We encourage you to apply! Our team is happy to help families with the application process and answer questions about Preschool Promise.
